Superior
Liquor opened in June, 2000. The store is locally owned and operated
and only has the one store in Superior. 20,000 Square feet of product
meets the customer as they enter the store. Product selection is huge,
prices are low and the staff friendly and helpful.

General Manager
A
Boulder resident for over 40 years, Pete Messimer is proud to offer
Superior Liquor to his home town! After ten years with a major winery,
four years with a brewery and three years with a Colorado wholesaler,
opening Superior Liquor represented the opportunity to get off the road
and enjoy the neighborhood. His effort to combine the best of
everything he's seen, in all the markets he has traveled to, is best
judged by you. He encourages you to say hi when you are in the store
and make any suggestions you can think of to improve your shopping
experience. |

Store Manager
Kim Littlejohn, also known as the Liquor Department Manager and the
Manager of the Beer Department. A "Jill" of most all trades! Born in
Ft. Collins, moving to Boulder in her Junior High years (not Middle
School--so now you can guess her age!) makes her one of the few
Colorado natives. Kim has 3 sons, a daughter-in-law and 3 PERFECT
grandchildren all living very close. She loves spending free time with
all of them. Kim also loves traveling with her best friend (sister).
Managing liquor stores in the Boulder area for over 15 years gives her
a unique perspective on consumer needs. Let Kim help you pick out
that perfect bourbon or local micro! |

Customer Service Manager
Recently
married and settled into a home in Boulder County, Doug Andrus is a
fixture to all of Superior Liquor's customers. When he takes over a
register, to cover for a cashier break, his line gets ten people
deep--just so everyone can say hello and catch up on local
happenings. Doug is one of Boulder's rare natives. When he is not
working on special events, corporate party planning and keeping things
flowing smoothly at the front of the store, he sneaks out to local golf
courses or retreats to his woodshop. If you don't already know Doug,
you're one of the few! |

Night Manager
When
the streetlights turn on to replace the glaring rays of each night's
sunset, Henry Modrzejewski takes over the controls of the good ship
Superior Liquor. Known to all that frequent the streets of Superior at
night, Henry greets all with a smile and generally a first name too.
Henry moved up to Superior from the southern edge of the state, to be
closer to family and meet new friends. Stop in and say hi the next
time you're in. It's not likely that Henry will ever forget your name. |

Night Manager--Part Time
Tina
"Fey" Ebben fills in the gaps between Doug and Henry at the Customer
Service Counter, both days and nights. But, were it known, is
generally the one in charge! Tina is focused in on her undergraduate
studies (with a 4.0 one has to be focused!), but makes ends meet in
life with time at Superior Liquor. Petit but powerful, Tina is quite
comfortable handling situations with a smile, poise and an occasional
bit of muscle. Like everyone it seems that works here, Tina is a
native of Colorado AND Boulder County. She's a joy to work with and
quick to help you plan your party or find your favorite wine. |
